Ocala Civic Theatre is located at 4337 East Silver Springs Boulevard (State Road 40) in the Appleton Cultural Center. Traveling east on State Road 40, you will pass K-Mart on the left. Traveling west, you will pass Wal-Mart on the left. A sign in the median indicates the Appleton Museum of Art and Ocala Civic Theatre. Immediately after turning into the driveway, you will see an Ocala Civic Theatre sign on the right. Turn there and follow the driveway into the parking lot. East Silver Springs Boulevard (State Road 40) can be reached from I-75, U.S. Highways 301/441/27 and most major north/south interchanges. Located in the Appleton Cultural Center on East Silver Springs Boulevard (State Road 40) in Ocala, Florida, Ocala Civic Theatre presents professional-quality, live productions at an affordable price. Ocala Civic Theatre produces more than twelve fully-staged productions each season, in addition to hosting touring companies.

The Theatre offers a year-round education program that reaches over 1000 students each year. Both skills classes and performance classes are offered to students ages 4-18.

This volunteer-based organization is one of the largest community theatres in the state and serves more than 50,000 Marion, Citrus and Lake County residents each season.
