Assistant Director of Business Services
                            
Classification: Non-Exempt                                      
Category: Regular full-time (Eligible for benefits)
Wage Type: Hourly ($10-12 per hour, depending upon experience)
Reports to:  VP, Business Advocacy & Partner Services
 
Summary/Objective
The Assistant Director of Business Services is responsible for engaging partners by assisting with CEP engagement and networking programs, initiatives and events. This proactive role works to assist in retaining existing partners by strengthening relationships with current partners, cultivating relationships with new partners, demonstrating return on investment, and growing affinity programs.
 
The Assistant Director of Business Services provides support to the Director of Networking & Partner Services by assisting the Director in management of retention and engagement programming for partners and serving as the staff liaison to the CEP Ambassador Program. This position will also provide occasional administrative support to the Director of Business Services.
 
Essential Functions
  • Administer annual Operation Thank You program
  • Administer the Partner Touch Point Plan
  • Affinity/Partner discount programs management
  • Coordinate Ambassador Program and related events (e.g. ribbon cuttings, meetings, etc.)
  • Assist with networking and retention events
  • Partner Database Maintenance (ChamberMaster)
  • Provide back up support to the Director of First Impressions
  • Provide administrative support for the Director of Networking & Partner Services and Director of Business Services, as needed

Interaction
This position works closely with the Director of Networking & Partner Services, Director of Business Services and Support team staff. The position is expected to assist with various programs, meetings and events as available.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
 
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.
 
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type, file or lift office supplies up to 40 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.
 
Expected Hours of Work
Work hours are eight hours per day, totaling forty hours per week. In general, the normal workday begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, which allows one hour for lunch. However, duties of this position may require the incumbent to be available beyond the traditional work hours, subject to the CEP’s Overtime Policy.
 
Travel
Local travel to various partner businesses and event venues is required.
