Legacies of Love, Children's Pet Loss Workshop

Event Description
The Legacies of Love Children's Pet Loss Workshop is at the Ocala Main Library and is a family-centered effort to provide support and education to children who have lost a beloved pet. This one hour workshop will discuss what it means to grieve the death of a pet, provide activities to help participants name and express feelings about their loss and commemorate pets with a complimentary pet loss memorial quilt square (one for each child present). This workshop will be facilitated by a children's bereavement professional, Dr. David Modders, PhD. This event is free and open to the public.
