Event Description
Second Annual "Army of Hope" - The entire community is invited to a Saturday afternoon loaded with food, fun and entertainment. $10 admission ($5 for kids, 10 and under) includes lunch, drink and patricipation in dozens of special events including a bouncy house, face-painting, balloons, clowns, Corvette Club display, WWII Warbird flyover, gun raffles, cake auctions, gift baskets, military and law enforcement static displays, all-day music and much more.
The Army of Hope is a major fund-raising program of the Florida State Elks Association aimed exclusively to assist families who have suffered the ultimate sacrifice -- the loss of life of a family member in Iraq or Afghanistan, those veterans who have been sriously wounded or injured and members of military families who are experiencing temporary financial setback due to the demands of military service.
